Cabinet Card of Buffalo Bill Cody by Stacy in Brooklyn, New York. William Frederick Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill, was a multifaceted figure of the American Old West. He was a bison hunter, Pony Express rider, U.S. Army scout, and Indian fighter. He also became an actor, impresario, and showman who dramatized the American West through his popular Buffalo Bill's Wild West show. Cody's show featured cowboys, cowgirls, bronco riding, roping, and reenactments of Indian War. This amazing piece of history shows wear with its bends and cracks over the years but none the less is a hard to find piece of Wild West history.
