CDV of Federal Soldier Evansville, Indiana or Wisconsin?

CDV of Federal Soldier from Evansville, Indiana or Wisconsin? This CDV is quite interesting and one I have spent quite a bit of time researching but have had no luck. It possibly could be a from Evansville, Indiana or Wisconsin. I have had no luck finding the photographer that is believed to be E. G. Smith. But at the bottom is reminats of the photographers tag noting Evansville. If it could be tied to Wisconsin there is potental to be a member of the distinguished Iron Brigade. Thus far I have no evidence to point to which town of Evansville this is from both had activity during the war.
